Stressed Who Me?
Hi Everyone,
When you are expected to do things far beyond your means, rushed, pressured, overloaded constantly and on the go all the time. Physical tension builds up in your chest, your chest muscles then contract. Hence you are forced to breath shorter, shaper and swallower.
If this consistent type of breathing consists – you will feel fatigued, your error rates will increase, emotional tension, forgetfulness, anxiety/panic attacks and the real possibility of depression setting in. On the physical side of things onset of asthma, more prevalent to colds and the increase in neck and shoulder pains, and the more serious an increase in blood pressure.
Stress Happens Because of You. It does not happen to you. It’s your call in the end.
It’s your belief system that dictates your response to situations. Its habits that you have created that your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing are affected and how you respond to stressful events.
Try doing the following when ever you feel stressed.
Breathe in to the count of 3 and breathe out to the count of 7. Remember it’s the simple things that sometimes work the best.
